How to create an assignment? A step-by-step tutorial

Process Feedback allows you to create assignments. Once an assignment is created, two links are generated:

  1. A link to share with students; they can use the link to complete their work.
  2. A link to the teacher dashboard, where you can view all student submissions.

Step 1: Open the Process Feedback website

Go to: processfeedback.org

Step 2: Select create an assignment

On the navigation bar, go to the teachers tab and click on “Create an Assignment”. This will open a new page to create or view assignments.

Step 3: Click on create a new assignment

To create a new assignment, click on “New Assignment”.

Step 4. Fill out the details of your assignment

After filling out your assignment details, click on “Create Assignment”.

Step 5 (Optional): Click on “AI feedback for students”

You can choose to provide feedback to your students as they work on their task. Students will receive feedback from AI in your style.

Step 6: Share the assignment with students

You can share the assignment link with students by clicking on “Copy Link” or from the left-side menu options by clicking on “Copy Submission Link”.
By clicking on the “Send to Students” button, you can copy the instruction and share it with students.
By clicking on the “Try Submitting” button, you can view the writing/coding editor.

Step 7: Open the teacher dashboard

To view students’ submissions, click on the “Open Dashboard” button. You can copy the dashboard link by clicking on “Copy Link” or have it sent to your email by clicking on “Email Dashboard Link” from the left-side menu options.

In case you did not enter an email, you can download the assignment link by clicking on “Download All Links” from the left-side menu options. This will download the submission link and the dashboard link.

Step 9 (Optional): Edit the assignment

In case you need to revise your assignment: For example, changing the due date, click on “Edit Assignment” from the left-side menu options.
